This auction is for a NEW IN BOX tacking Iron with a two year warranty. This tacking iron with a curved sole and a non-stick coated base is ideal for tacking dry mount tissue because of the curved tip, can be tilted so that one can iron large or small areas as desired.

This curved-bottomed iron comes with variable temperature control, wooden handle, and Teflon coating. A tacking iron is used for tacking dry mount tissue and artwork into place before putting it into a press. It can also be used for mounting slides or any other application that uses heat based adhesives. It has an adjustable dial for heat settings covering the range from low to high (see picture.) It uses 120 volts with a non-stick coated base.
